So i heard about these guys a while ago, some guy introduced a few skateboard to the street kids in downtown joburg. Put a toy request in at Toyrun and managed to get the 2 skateboards donated, plus a pair of rollerblades ???
We're also trying to get a few other gifts, colouring books and crayons, anything to spread around a bit.
It's a "grassroots" "community" "project", so i'm just hoping that i'm not on a wild goose chase. But i think it'll be a slightly different way to hand out toys to kids who really don't have much.
Since it's from Toyrun, it would be great to have a few bikes come with, make some noise and some friends at the same time.
I don't have any plans to meet somewhere and ride through, but depends on reaction from you blokes.
Next Saturday 8th December at 11 am in JHB.
