Aplogies for the cellphone pics....
On Saturday i went to see my mate's new factory.
I was supposed to meet him @ 09:30 at the McShite's on gordonroad. He was an hour late due to some accident on the highway.
We got going and i followed him (Toyota hilux bakkie) It was frustrating following a cage on the highway. We took the N4 towards Witbank, Eventually took the donkerhoek turnoff.
Stopped for some refreshments:
A couple of kays out of Pretoria and it looks like real farming country (wich it is)
And then... woohoo dirt..
it was really unexpected but it made my day after the irritating highway.
Saw this:
It had a sign saying Landrover Specialists and it had a huge amount of stripped army vehicles and some Armoured police vehicles that looked like it saw the wrong side of a riot.
The dirt was ecremely hardpack...there was no dust as the mud just dried smoothly and it looked like it was tarred.. thus the fastest i have been offroad.. 120km/h.
After some beers at the factory and catching up with my mate..i took the long boring Highway home...
Better than not riding at all.
