Mate of mines going on an off-road course in a week or two. Wont mention the name of the place, partly because i don't actually know it but he's been told they HAVE to have knobblies. 3 okes going on the course... (1250 Bmw x2) (1 x tiger 1200) and a (bmw1200 adventure.) .. the 2 1250's and the Tiger are basically brand new bikes, the 1200 has brand new trailmax's on it.
Does that sound right ?? Does an off road course REQUIRE knobblies.??
** Not a criticism or judgement at all. Just interested to hear opinions because when I book mine, I'm not budgeting an extra 3.5K for a set of tyres I wont use again... rather go somewhere that doesn't require them?? Apparently this course is very very good... ?
