On the farm with Florider....

We had responsibilities on the farm this weekend and with the Bushman-church,so I couldn't do the Kouga-loop ..........

Instead ,Saturday lunchtime Drazil and Florider arrived on Kareekrans and after a cooldrink we went for a short ride to Camp Kimbo ....
Florider,a German, is visiting from Europe......He was riding Hazzards' BMW.
Andries on Kalahari and me on Vlenter....It was  “lekker” and challenging and I went through my first little river.. the”Kleinbrakrivier”...... .....
Then Drazil and Florider went for a spin to Middleton........

Saturday evening was spend very casual "braaing" tjops and roosterkoek ......and listening to all the info Drazil has gathered on his solo trips cruising through our beautiful country. He has done amazing RR's !!!...Florider has done a few trips with Drazil when he is in South-Africa.....and on every trip there were rain and even hail.....this caused a lot of laughter !!! The funny part is ,it started thundering when they left Sunday afternoon and now the whole area is overcast....... :lol8: :lol8:

Florider pops me an email from Slovakia telling me he will be flying in for a day or two and would like to go on a small bike trip as he misses the Eastern capes back yard
so the hunt to rent a bike failed and at the last minute I did what I never do , I asked Hazzard my National bash riding buddy to loan Florider his GSA and all was arranged
I was going to take Florider to Cata but it was full then a bird whispered take him to see the bushmen at Twe Twes spot
well we were told we were very welcome and we were spoilt rotten
I would like to say that Andries and Twe Twe treated us like we were royalty and to little Twe Twe ( Rebecca ) thank you for the rooster brood ginger bread man who survived the dirt roads

@Firecoast....my vroutjies bou nog aan die boesmanhuisies in Kamp Kimbo en daar is net n toilet,nog nie n shower by die kamp nie....ek verhuur dit nie uit nie ,maar daar het al enkele forumlede vir n aand oorgeslaap.... :thumleft:
