8 guys, 4 days in the Northern Cape.

Great dinner and another awesome stay at Latsatsi Lodge, Van Rhynsdorp the perfect launch for an epic trip.

And off in search of the sand monsters.

3 x KTM 690 Enduro R
1 x Husqvarna 701
2 x KTM EXC 500

All aced the sand . Great bikes and skilled riders.

First night at an old favourite - Hondeklip Bay.

The second day was always going to be a tough challenge with the added stress of getting to base at Vioolsdrift in time for the rugby.

A good mix of sand , gnarly climbs and good old fashioned adventure riding. Bring it one.

The beautiful  Frontier River Resort our crash spot for night two.

The resort perched up on a hill overlooking the Orange River and Namibia never disappoints. Same applies to Christines legendary catering.


The stunning Frontier River Resort hosted us on the Orange River .

Christine's legendary cooking, great vibe at Tim's bar and a barmy evening was made in even sweater when the Boks gave the mud islanders a 'slap'.

Sadly no good pics of the return leg to Van Rhynsdorp.

A short section of awesome sand twee spoor and a rocky canyon before the easy gravel tracks down south.

I'd love to join a trip but I wouldn't do that to a group of competent riders. Let me know when you do a NOOB version.
