Spare a thought for Bushveld Iron Man, Wickus van Deventer (Vicus Vandeventer - Oz spelling) who crashed and broke his leg (out of the race) while leading the quads by miles on the 4th day (out of 5) I think. Bummer - SA sportsmen can't get anything right just at the minute!
