I am starting to knock about a few ideas on a ride to Lake Malawi late next year. The plan is for my son and I to head out for 2 weeks or so and have a little father / Son time before he starts varsity. He will be on a BMW 650 Dakkie and I will be riding either a Katoom 950 or Gs1200.....
Any advice relating to a trip of this nature would be most welcome, including possible routs. At this point I am looking to go via Zim heading towards Vic Falls and across into Zambia and up to Malawi.
Please share freely of experiences and suggestions.
