Plastic-bike fun in the Freestate mountains

My friend, Michiel called me the other day and said that we must come and visit him on his farm ( 20km north of Jagersfontein ) on Good-Friday for a bit of fun." Leave the big bikes at home and bring your plastics, I wanna show you guys the mountains" was the meassage.
So at 8 o'clock, five of us pitched at his farmhouse and off we went into the mountains.
The route was about 60km long and it took us 6 hours to complete. It was made up of small mountains, dry riverbeds, big mountains, rocks and more rocks and some blood, sweat and tears.

Nee, eintlik was dit die mees sagkuns flip-over wat ek nog gesien het. Daardie
300 het so in slo-mo onder die man uitgeloop en homself teen die draad maak
staan. Priceless!

Hier gee Ruan 'n paar pointers vir sy oom. Check die throttle hand. Ek is seker
hy verduidelik dat Oom nie moet skaam wees op die poeier nie.

Ek dink nie mense besef hoe skuins berge is nie..... daai foto met die bikes wat teen die heuwel leun is cool.
