Hi there guy's, after debating on what bike would suit me and my wife and our type of riding best, I've narrowed it down to the F800GS.
Keeping in mind that I am on somewhat of a limited budget I will have to settle for one of the older models. I've started looking around and found one not to far from me and went to have a look at it.
It's a 2009 model with 74k km's on the clock. I took it for a test drive and everything sounded and worked good as it should. Most of the mileage comes from the first owner who had a fleet of these with which he did tours for foreign tourists.
The second owner, whom I am looking to buy from has also done necessary maintenance such as the usual chain and sprockets, tyres and services. According to him the forks were serviced by the previous owner before he bought the bike.
Having said that I would like some advice on what kind of issues to look out for or what can be expected of this bike with respect to year model and mileage?
I'll attach a few photos of the bike. Keep in mind that I can get this bike for a little over R10K less than average market price and my budget.
The bike is on display at a dealer but it's a private sale.
