Puppy Dog Needing Some Advice

HI All

I am a single woman living in the Eastern Cape who is really interested starting to ride bikes. The problem is that I have no clue where to start! I don't want to be a sitting duck when I go into a bike shop. What questions etc should I be asking.

If I want to play with the big dogs, I must learn to "lift my leg"
