Today after work I quickly rode solo into the plantations 15 mins from my home, to see what the area looks like after the rains of today and a few weeks ago.
Seeing that I cant be doing any riding this weekend, I just had to dash out to get the batteries recharged!

The place is fairly washed out:

I'm getting used to this kind of terrain now (steep downhill here, loose rocks but a photo does not do justice):

I put the bike down to take the photo:

After this the camera batteries died on me, and after a while I turned back. Was home before dark.
Now I have something to think about when we take the cage to Swellendam tomorrow...

I also went through some plantations a while ago. There is just something about it that makes is so awsome.

The edownfall is the trucks the turns that stofpad into 100mm deep snowflake esp in the corners.
