Recently re-acquired my first motorcycle. A 1992 Suzuki GN250. Had her for about 3 years, sold her to a buddy, and bought her back from him a couple of months ago. When I originally bought her she was already in dire need of a rebuild. Now she is literally falling apart.
At first I was planning some minor cosmetic work, but then I stumbled across pictures of her little dirt loving twin, the SP250. I'm not sure till when they built them, but I couldn't find any records of this bike after 1985.

So, seeing that a complete rebuild was already planned, and that the rear fender on my bike was falling apart to begin with, I've decided to try and convert my GN into a SP.
I haven't made a final decision on colour, but I'm thinking white and blue in the R80GS way.
I started stripping her today, and will be posting some photos as I go along. The first photos should go up tomorrow.
Anyway, that's it for now.
