Ride Report of a 10 year marriage

So I get the call........  "Chom.. I've been married for 10 years.... let's have a party !!!"

Needless to say I am in !!!....  Old Veldbrand and Veldblom have been at it for 10 years and we are off to a magic spot called " Margsol"  or  "Maak-a-zol" as we call it that is owned by our mate called Theuns.

So a couple of us plan a route and the rest of our families hit the road with loads of food and drinks and kids and stuff !!

After sorting out a small problem on Hondsekieries bike ( thanx Runner for opening your shop early ) we hit the road.

There is me on HSK's HP2, Renier on a BOFF, Kierie on the KTM and Veldbrand on the F@rkin Pig...  Raka joined us later as he at to work.

We were  bit worried about the weather... but it held for long enough to give us a very cool time...

We rode on to Dullstroom where we had a lunch.

as you can see above HSK had to fiddle the KTM as he lost some bolts from under the seat and we made a plan with some dodgy screws just to get him to the farm. His sub-frame was a bit dodgy !!

So we get all of that sorted and we get to the farm after some of us "lost" some of our maatjies...

Truth is that I gave Kak directions and HSK and me went one way and the rest went another...  They then waited for us for an hour just to find out that we were 100 kms ahead of them having a smoke break....

Sorry again manne !!!

But by now more mates were pulling in... Groenie and family, Deon + daughter, Renier's missus called Heleen and her son Thomas,  Gus and Kirsten, Theuns the owner and my family together with Michelle and Debbie.

Seeing as it was a bit of a boozy weekend... I may have f@rked up on a name or two...

Some pics of the 1st nights proceedings.... Raka had made us the most amazing "Kudu Patties" and we all chowed down on lovely burgers......  except for the odd "vegatarians" who had to make another plan

On Saturday we took it easy and some played guitar and chilled...

This is where we stayed....  if any WD wanna rent the whole place for weekends... speak to Veldbrand.

Next morning HSK had to get into town only to find the KTM shop closed......  he got helped at Honda ...hahahaha ot:

We all chilled and got the kids ready for an outride....

We then went for an amazing ride in a forest immediately next to the place we were staying... a short hop and a river crossing got us onto these amazing scenes....

We stuffed around for a while and then headed back for more party....... :biggrin:

Some dancing and drinking insued... and we all had a very late night....

Next morning we had a long breakfast and said our goodbyes...

we returned via Sodwala Caves and Lydenburg.....  we hit HUGE rain near Stofberg and "some" people had a little fall..

eventually we tried to hide from the rain in Middelburg but as we ran out of daylight we decided to slab home on the N4..

Hey thanks virrie RR bra Douw.
En julle almal wie dit gemaak het Margsol toe.
Dit was 'n jol en ek het lanklaas so baie gelag, en gesuip.
Nou nog seer...
Baie special plek daai en my geliewe Blommie nog meer.
Ons is daar getroud en dit was net logies dat ons weer daar moes gaan makietie.
Blommie is nog innie Kruger Park met ons kamera so ek sal later 'n paar pics pos.
Weereens dankie aan almal, dit was 'n jol en ons maak weer so.
