RIDING Gysmanshoekpas from Heidelberg across to Brandrivier.
Just part of a two day ride from Franschhoek to Greyton for breakfast and then on to Riviersonderend followed by tar to Swellendam and then via Suurbraak to Heidelberg for petrol and up and over Gysmanshoekpas to Brandrivier and overnight at Warmwaterberg.
On Sunday we dodged lions, rhino, Gemsbok and Giraffe in Sanbona before slabbing it across to Touwsriver for breakfast and petrol.
Rode the Pienaarskloof road across to the R355 and then on to Tankwa padstal for lunch.
Took Katbakkies home via Ceres and Bainsklloof.
Just on 800km.
Note: take care on the Matjiesfontein road just before the Eskom distribution setup as the roads department has filled parts of the road with thick blue stone.
One could easy come a bad cropper.
