So I felt like ...

... doing something other that fiddle with mechanical stuff.

I had some old scraps of wood left over from the kitchen revamp.  Nice beech that I thought my come in useful sometime.

So I decided to make some butter knives.  Marked out the rough shape ..

Cut them out with the bandsaw...

Marked them out carefully ...

And then, using a variety of different tools, shaped them into this.

Some fine sandpaper and a coat of olive oil later ... a Swedish Butter Knife! :biggrin: :biggrin:
