Thanks a lot Crossed- Up  :3some: for being such an expert of where to ride in the Quarry , for having panga-d open the paths for us , and for showing us all the lekker routes and leading us .  We had another great day yesterday .  It was good to see Alex also , and thanks both of you for pushing my boundaries .  :thumleft: :thumleft:

We went out in two shifts . The first group started riding at 7 am , Crossed -Up and I , joined by Camelman , Alex.

At 9 am Crossed- Up collected Miss M , Legadema and the others.  Alex and I both left ,  had other commitments . But Crossed Up has quite a bit of stamina and rode tilll 11 am with the others .  :thumleft:

Be lekker if others also join us on Sundays.

I see my cell phone cut some faces off , but at least I got the bikes in . :imaposer: and that's more important .  :biggrin:

Thanks for the pics, Rynet.   It's great to have a record of these events.  I'm hopeless about taking photos.

You rode many places that I did not take MissM - the deep sand and the steep gradients.  She's not in rally-rider training like you.  But, having said that, she did fantastically well and will become a regular, I'm sure.

Well done for tackling that plunging corner.  It is scary the first time, until you realise that gravity is on your side.  Mark Hardy's hill and the stepped climb opposite it are your next targets.

Good to see Desert Dueller back at the quarry.  He did some bush clearing himself, but a KLR is not a machete - more like a brick - and he abbreviated his front mudguard.

Espresso also tried his woodmanship with his 690 and wedged it between the wattles.  Wattles 1 handguard  0. Thanks for coming along, Howard.

Thanks, Garfield, for your steady head and patience.  I always enjoy riding with you.

I can feel the effects of the long ride in my bones today - but I have 6 more days to get ready for the next round.
