Guys yesterday I started my bike, rode it out of the garage and let it idle while I went to fetch helmet etc. All fine as it has been the last 80 000 kms!
Switched it off for some reason and it wouldn't start again. Dash is on but dash lights not. When I push starter button just right it makes a clicking sound from under the seat somewhere. I saw the gauges do their usual sweep once.
Thought it might be the battery even though I replaced that last year so tried another battery (smaller battery from a scooter). That made a popping sound nothing else. I checked the fuses and charged the bikes battery overnight.
Today still the same. Tried a jump start but dash lights stays off unless I push the starter button a certain way, then it comes on and I can hear a clicking sound.
Haven't ridden all weekend please help - what to check next?!
