Shalako-Lin and I, inspired by your WD stories of riding around SA in the cold and fog and mist, in the sleet and the snow, decided that we too should put on our winter woollies and brave the near freezing conditions of +24 winter temperatures here in Sydney.
Some fortitude was needed on our part to enter the icy chill of the +18 ocean water ?but as you can see from the following photos, we persevered and made the best of it...
Lin, braving the icy waters of southern Sydney.
Jaq taking a tremendous risk of getting hypothermia.
The ocean water was so cold this Cormorant refused to dive in after fish!
We carefully surveyed the water ahead of us for rogue icebergs.
Lin, wearing her Wild Dogs thermal shirt.
The only thing that kept her warm on this icy afternoon.
So there ya go...didn't want you guys and gals to think we're not out there in these awful winter conditions doing it hard the same as you WD's.
Wish you were all here.
Cheers: Jaq and Lin.
