Couple of guys decided to head to the bush for a braai and some beverages. Thank to Runner for navigating for us. It was dusty but a heck load of fun. I was worried the 250 will keep up, poor thing was on the stops for long sections but it did just fine. In the Kwamahlanga area close to our first "stop" for the day. Burp posing for a photo, MatieSpero in great spirits as well.

We head north towards Gemsbokspruit, I stop here and there to take a quick photo. Through the eucalyptus we go, from here the road makes a right and drops down into Wolvengaten - this was a lekker stretch. The road was in good shape and flowing - could do the same speeds here as on tar.

At Hartbeesfontein the track climbs on the side of the hill as we make our way towards Die Bron ruins. Andre stretching the 990's legs.

Die Bron lies in the Goederede valley, quite a bit of water here even for this time of year. It seems the place were last inhabited in the early 2000's. Only ruins of the buildings remain.

We find a 2 track and follow the river for a while until a good spot is found for the braai. Orange juice and some meat gets consumed, the river flows by and all is good. Many bike tales are told and everyone has a good laugh. Jaco you awake there ? Good few hours pass before we head off and home again. It was a lot of fun and a good bunch of guys to ride with. Thanks to everyone !

Of all these names I only know the first one thanks to Conrad & Andrew, I know it is a fenceless trust so a rural and awesome riding playground.
The purple tracks on my GPS told me though I've been to many of these places already, I even recognized some of the roads/tracks/bridges as well as orange juice vending spots..... so now I am convinced that you, knowing all the names, as well as Jaco consider this area your broeksak!
Andre also, he's never lost anywhere, and he seems to know all the shebeens, no wait, he knows the shortcuts to them!
All this shows me that I need to get out more there, this is around my own corner ffs!
Ffs yes, because I'll admit that to find my way home from anywhere there I'd have to consult my GPS first to see where I am - unlike any of you, it's all of you's back pocket.

You's got the number: yes I'm in, I can join and I will too because I want to because I like it, plus I am lucky enough to be able to choose a suitable bike for the occasion - on which, I didn't see you lagging anywhere, and yes I agree, Conrad's "we'll do 100 max" was a lie yes 😋
Thanks all for this lekker day out, I needed that after a few months of being tied to other things (y)(y)(y)

Lekker trip with some hooligans, like it. (y)

O yes, and I smaak that new orange juice you guys get up there. ;)
