The new owner of my Africa Twin is collecting it today and end of another era for me owning this fine machine.
Ahhhh it is indeed a strange day and will be weird not walking into the garage seeying the AT staring at me...
Poor thing even had a wash yesterday
Had some crashbars fitted in the week by Chad and myself...bit late now I would of thought
I have put on 42 000 of those miles in three years, best investment ever had or made in this bike. Hope it serves Peter well in time to come
Some good memories will always stick with me...
2004
Lootch putting it through the bike wash at Eyensford, he had to leave early because his wife was due their first born - now that is commitment going offroad
I think this is where the seed was planted for Lootch to get an excuse to aqcuire his AT, who would of guess his TDM would run bearings in due course and him ending up buying his Twin
Pilgrims Way..
2005
BMF Rally Peterborough
Horizons Derbyshire
Can you spot it
Donnington Park
Salisbury Plains August 2005
a bit later the same day
Now that's what I call friends
Watercrossing coming through
When I got home had to take pics before the big wash
Myself and Lootch having a quick play close to his house in a field
Sundowns like these close to your bike that puts the world back into balance
Yet again another offroad jaunt with DaveS and Lootch
If I recall it was dusty
We nearly turned back......yeah right
Shortly after we met I convinced Chad that it is a good thing to try offroading his new AT
This was a particilar wet day on the plains
Mudbath in order
2006
It might of been February but this still did not stop me and Lootch wandering offroad again..
Ohhh did somebody say go play on the plains?
I thought that puddle was only 2 inches deep
The AT is not just good offroad but social skills unmatched to anything ever come across. Made such good friends over the last three years and really proud to know you guys. If something makes you smile so much you better keep on doing it.
The go anywhere camp anyplace bike
The bike that on which I taught Bella to ride with me and enjoy the wind in face expierence
Well boys and girls this Maverick signing off - Iv'e been AT'd
