Come ride up with me, we'll make a tour within a tour.

Never knew you liked long distance riding, not quite my fave..... buuut, if that is over nice (off of course) routes without trying to set Iron Butt type records then this may be a good idea (y)

I'm over the record distance thing, with my back, kidneys, eyes, legs, heart and a few other ailments.:)

You are welcome Jan, and we can work out a very nice route over not-seen-before countryside. Mostly ondirt, or at least where possible.

Canzius, you can meet us in Stellenbosch?:ninja:

I have always loved long distance riding, at slow[ish] pace. Something very special about being on your bike, out nowhere, alone, for hours onend.

It has become more tiresome lately, due to being unyoung.

Sooo @Noneking , @Amsterdam , @chopperpilot , @2StrokeDan & Marc, the few direct-above-posts refer.
I'm rereading here a bit, call me a sentimental fool ..... but this really was an awesome trip!

I know Canz' needs a lil rest at the mo, ditto for Jan as he also has some cracks in his frame.... but we really should plan a Version#2 of this ride!

Unchanged route please Canzius, KIS, and hopefully we can do same if not similar regarding lodging - and yes, I realize that Joe & Ruth have moved on but there's other options in Tonteldoos, plus also that we were Covid-lucky (can't believe I write this **** but true nonetheless  ) to stay at that fancy Kusudelweni Lodge with Daryll & Maria but perhaps an alternative plan can be made ...... but same route please?
Was awesome, and after a few years I'm sure it will have changed so 'new' things will have grown if not just happened/evolved, so let's go and find out.... ;)

And, if the Capies want to come up riding then I'll park my car somewhere Capewise and join you!!!
Oh, yea, I know ol' Canz has to work his arse off the rest of this year to keep his stove burning, zero problem of course and all normal..... but, we surely could look at February/March-ish next year?
Sure, bitofa long term planning thing but then such has advantages also (y)

Something to ponder on on this Sunday, Groete!!

Ek is in Bart

Winter pas my ook - jis, AL datums pas my, ek's mos n lucky pensionaris so tyd genoeg!!! - en ja, jy's reg, beter dit effe koeler wees dan want ons gaan weer werk daaro 😋

Weet ek sien reeds uit! (y)
