Done precisely that:
- 'old' clutch-set looked new still hence will now become my spare set!
- new Ferodo set measures 0.2mm
thinner than the old set (buggerall i.e same, and an indication that the old OEM set is fine still)
- added a flatwasher of 1.85mm thick under each of the 4 clutch springs to up their clamping force a bit ... noticeable by a
liiittle more force required now to pull the lever :thumleft:
- new oil & filters also, which had been changed right before this ride so I only did 1385km with it..... oh well, I was busy anyway, shame on me lol
I also re-fitted the 10W LED spots (which were previously mounted on the crashbar, but this location wasn't ideal when I fell over
) to a higher/better position, now out-of-the-way when kooping a plaas, resulting in better light when one needs it.
GPS-holder also mounted but to the side, the only easy-enough location left on the busy bars.
