The leaking RH fork seal, that resulted in a near locked-up leg, might have contributed to this damage.

Danie's regular wheelies, together with enduro type terrain encountered on this trip, were surely further contributing factors.

Indo-China piece of crap...is the 701 manufactured there? [emoji848][emoji15][emoji85]

@BuRP was braaping where ever he rode...in front with Noneking, or right at the back in the dust cloud.

After each day's riding, Bart's face was worse off than the 701's filter!

I have no idea how such a triple clamp failure can occur. Were the bolts tightened to the correct torque? Or is Danie just too much for this indo china bike? :lol8:

I'm not talking about the rusted bolt in the pic, that seems to be holding his handguards together?

Dan will take the long way home, a Freestate cousin for tonight I believe - Travel Safe Pal!
And [member=7653]MiniDan[/member] , he misses you you bliksem! 

Together with [member=614]Runner[/member] we had an excellent ABF-meal last night, at a new2me place which was except for a good restaurant also a lekker kuierplek, open pitfires outside to keep cosy even - great!  :thumleft:

Let's wait for him to get home behind his PC pal, but I don't think so.
He loves his 701 like I do, and in hindsight - crystal clear as per always - it was the best bike for us for this trip: plenty fast enough for the tar bits, staggeringly willing to instantaneously loft the front over ****, and light enough not to tire one too much after some proper riding days.... plain lekker!  :thumleft:
