I am going to be doing a long trip towing a bike trailer soon.
Because trailers spend much of their time stationary and in the open,
I am concerned that the bearings may be corroded or need cleaning and repacking with grease.
Any suggestions for a service provider in the Tshwane area to do this? Gauteng?
Or can I get advice on a procedure for doing it myself - type of grease, torque setting for bearing pre-load etc.
I have had the nasty experience of a trailer losing a wheel at speed with two adventure bike onboard.
