The "cold day in hell' one (last year June) was with 3 NXR's, 2 Zongsehs, TR's CTX, a DT125 and the 'muvvership' (my Pig)

Wingman, Sweeper, Sir Gravelot and SnapCracklePop (or Chainslap) are regular NXR riding buddies.
Mrs Trailrider also used to have a NXR.

Brilliant report of an epic ride!

My father grew up on a farm on the Steytlerville side of the Baviaans Mountain. I travelled through there in April and cannot wait to go back. Promised the relatives I will be back soon.

Just read an old book that describes the 1916 flood and the plight of the Campbells in detail.

I've never been to Hogsback but your pictures have put that high on my list!
