Thanks for that.  Two of the places particularly interested me so having the coordinates is great.

Great great RR LS!! I have read somewhere that Genl. Wauchope lays buried at Matjiesfontein because someone mistook the name Matjiesfontein for Magersfontein. How true this is I cannot say.

Very very well done and written Cyril - your report is very educational and entertaining at the same time - I am sorely tempted to retrace your tracks and see it all for myself ...

Lekka report LS.  I had to grin at the description of the Port St Johns meltdown. How frustrating when the synapses get their act together and instructs you to focus with multiple firings, but ai, the body she is dumb and numb to the wisdom's at hand.  :thumleft:

Sommer a lekker attack of nostalgia! I was born in Mtatha or Umtata ans spent holidays at Hole in the Wall, Port St. Johns and a few other spots.

Thank LS!  :thumleft:

great experience riding and meeting/observing locals in the different areas :thumleft: :thumleft:

Dankie vir die mooi storie Lakkie.

The Transkei is nice, but damn, you appreciate a good tar road and 5th gear after two days of using only your 1st three gears.

And if you dont like potholes or like to baby your bike, dont go there. Those roads can shake a bike apart.

It was a moers lekker trip, thanks for inviting me along LS!

Baie lekker report met baie huiswerk in, dankie.
Ek geniet die angles en komposisie van jou fotos.

Txs! lekkerrrrr! Het dit baie geniet. Ek gaan Desember Lobanzi (naby Hole in the Wall) toe. Sien soooooo uit! P

The Perfect report . Beautiful and Artistic with lots of adventure.  Love the way you framed the photos.  :thumleft: :thumleft:

Transkei been on my bucket list , thanks for sharing.  :drif: :drif:
