Twister down

Pieter Lourens had a nasty encounter with a VW Golf this evening on his way to our weekly gathering at the Lapa@Bikers.  He broke some bones, but he was lucky enough to have enough friends close by to take his bike home and load him up safely into the Ambulance.  The paramedics did a good job stabilizing him, including some of that strong "feel good" muti for the pain.  His wife and kids came out to the scene and they accompanied him to hospital.  Will have better detail tomorrow.
