over a year ago I got a small leak in my rear tyre and inflated it with tyre weld (actually can't remember the exact brand) and miraculously it inflated and held pressure. Now ashamedly I have not ridden the bike for nearly 8 months... So I took the wheel off to replace the tyre and there are massive pit marks all over the bead area of the rim. I have been told its the ammonia or something in the product that's attacked the aluminium. :-\...anyone else seen this?
