While we were in Mpofu game reserve the shit hit the fan, Ters hit the ground, rather hard I might add.
Not to fear, his a Hankey farmer no less, half a Coke and a energy bar later his back on the Adventure and cooking.

The KLR was with the group the whole way.

On tar we did between 120 and 140.  Gravel varied from 40 - 120 where we could.

Thanks to everyone who went along on the trip-it was GREAT
Except for the fall, but we'll survive that, the ego might take a while I think.

Came round a bend on a downhill and  the road in front of me were full of ruts, managed out of one just to get 2 wheels in different ruts.
bike did a liftoff and a 180 turn in mid air at 80km/h

Must have been a sight of note never mind heart stopping.
so being a farmer you tried to plow new fields. ::) (had to put that in)

Skipskop was so impressed with the 1200's behaviour up the Katberg pass he went out and bought one today.

Remember you heard it from me first!!!

Not that the KLR did not do what it was told, it was just a natural progression. :pot:

Skipskop may I wish you well and hope the BM takes care of you, enjoy!

Nice ride you owes & chicks. :thumleft: Beautiful country. Boera. Not feel bad, it happens in the best of families. Skips skop. Congrats, now that you've joined the big leage, enjoy your Big Trasiliem, and whats more, you will now be enticed to do much longer runs, to far off places.  ;D

:hello:  I know the KLR gave Skipskop everything he asked and expected. 10 x1000's for the KLR, said with lots of respect, because it could handle any road or pathway, nomatter where or what, it just did it.  :happy3: Congratulations to Skipskop with upgrading to a BMW
R1200.  Hope I can enjoy riding with you, and all the ailments can be pushed aside and left behind. Only time will tell. Skipskop your simply the best :salut:
