Upgrade? from a 650 GS (twin) to a 800GS

I had my 650 twin now for just more than a jear and just love it to bits.  No trouble, just plain econical fun with a surprising ability to to keep up with the big guns even 2 up.  Problem is that the  waiting list for the F800GS has now dwindled down to zero and I am itching to make the switch.  The 800 was my original choice but I was just not prepared to wait through the long waiting list.  But......the 650 was just one long pleasant surprise. 

PLEASE HELP .....will I be doing the right thing.  ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

PS I love doing the back roads but I am not into extreme stuff.
