remember my sani trip????,,,
well those same guys wanted a reunion and i suggested taking them on the harties canal road on sunday
we left very late and didnt speed,,,just taking it slow and easy,,,,we had crossed the tar roads and were past the townhip in brits when we got to the mud section,,,thank goodness the mud wasnt so bad and there were hard tracks everywhere and we used them to steer away from the mud monster,,,i lead
then it happens,,,the one bmw1150 gs front wheel takes one side of the rut and the back wheel grabs the otherside of the rut, resulting in throwing the bike side ways,,,doing 45 km/h wearing all of the attgat the rider continues going straight resulting on falling on his shoulder and side
at first it seems he's just badly winded but then we start suspecting a cracked rib,,,we duck of right away to the nearest tar road and ride alongside him till pta east where he lives,,,,take him to wilgers hospital to find out he's broken a rib which pierced his lung and the fluid needs to be drained from his lungs,,he is taken up in icu and is stable by today
so whats my point,,,i dunno???
sometimes ,,,shirt happens????
what else,,,what could i have done to prevent this
