OK guys and girls.

I have eventually got my video together. Sorry, but it is a little long. It was very difficult to show the all the riding areas in 10 mins.

Not as funny as my fails, but it gives a good indication of what was out there.

When I started building up this bike, it was my intention to get a proper dual sport bike out of it. Turning heads was not one of my goals. As I was walking around the starting area, I saw the lady photographer giving the bike one look, and a wide berth!  :imaposer:

Tick one for not being a head turner.  :thumleft:

I had to compose this vid, to convince myself that I can actually ride in this stuff, as I am still sufering from Amnesia from that ride!

Me too! The holes didn't bother me too much - but all those broken bottles! I'm amazed we didn't have some shredded tyres.

I can't believe between all the photographers we didn't think to remove that red and white tape and the sign that was falling down. I only really noticed it when looking through some of my footage. Mental note for next time: do a quick cleanup of the area before start shooting.

Two weeks ago I did the route it was a single track. The following week, there were holes in the middle of the track! Two days later, some crap dumped everywhere!!! WTF? Then I thought, should I change the route, which was a easy decision, 'Nope'! This is the Amageza not the Kosikasi!!  :biggrin:

You guys did very well, and sorry for the branches you had to bundu-bash through. I started chopping them, then asked the enternal question, Amageza or Kosikasi??  >

Results: Don't stress. Those of you who made it relatively close to Pella passed, even if you had to be recovered. No cut-off time was enforced as this is a RUN not a RACE!!  :deal: You showed the determination that is part of the Amageza, and that is what counts. You still have time to get fit.

Some speeding here and there, which you will have to look at before doing the Amageza Rally Run, but otherwise very well done. Out of the 30 who started, less those who were already qualified, 24 of you passed. We will publish this as soon as its been marked completely. You should know who you are!!

Once again, congrats to all of you. Now lets see what happens in Gauteng this weekend!!

Truely epic!! pity I got lost for an hour and a half (in the main dunes looking for anyone to follow!!). It was so nice to ride competitively and feel part of something bigger!!

Saterdag se ry was seker een van my lekkerste Wilddog-ritte nog!  Dit was baie goed georganiseer en baie dankie vir almal wat baie moeite gedoen het om dit vir ons ryers moontlik te maak. :thumleft:
Beserker, baie dankie vir jou hulp met die GPS. Ek is steeds vas oortuig dat die 690 die beste fiets is vir dié tipe ritte.

Firstly, I would just like to mention that my regular riding buddy (and my driver & navigator last Saturday) Abel had a pacemaker fitted this afternoon. The Op went well, he is in ICU for observation and initial recovery.
Hope they fitted a high-performance model.  :thumleft:
