Firstly, I would just like to mention that my regular riding buddy (and my driver & navigator last Saturday) Abel had a pacemaker fitted this afternoon. The Op went well, he is in ICU for observation and initial recovery.
Hope they fitted a high-performance model.  :thumleft:

All the best Able , Get well soon bud !

Well done Pleco  , some serious sand out there,I fell just watching your video.

Excellent pics Sprocketbek , as your pics always are !

I was using a purpose built bike, making it super easy  :thumleft:.

I would once again express my absolute respect for the okes taking bigger heavier bikes over the Atlantis sand river. Who is on that whaute Kalahari? Stunning bike and much respect to the rider.

I have ridden my Tenere and HP2 in dunes and West Coast sand like this so every time I entered on of those broken corners I had sympathy with all the okes behind me.

I'll second that.....and some of them are pretty fast (pity about the helmet colours and the culverts next the railway line  ;D )

Hey! Just read about Abel.  Get well soon - there's lots of riding still to be done.

All the best!

I missed your helmet cam Andrew. Always good footage from there.  :thumleft:

My coverage of the route was good, but not too many riders in the shots. And the action was a bit sloooow!

Video's will come. I'm going to be doing some interviews with Alex probably next weekend and I'm hoping to do a more narrative / documentary edit. But all depends on the direction Wayne picks for the marketing side of things.

We're probably a few weeks away from a proper edit. But there's some cool footage, and I reckon the final thing should be really awesome.

Oh, and for those not in the fb group, here some more pictures:
