What do a HP2, a DR 650, 2 XRs and a Husky have in common?

take a closer look, 3 bikes ended up on the trailer. the bikes were fine, the riders not so much and a kind (wise) offer from back home resulted in us being met in ceres by a trailer and a lift home (at about 1 in the morning)

beserker had 4 - count em - 4 - punctures on the day. I had one too, but it was a slow one and tire weld seemed to hold it.

as beserker was fixing the 2nd one in wupperthal, stroke her and leftless decided to push on - the day was running late due to the previous puncture and some tough riding that took longer than expected (it was about 4 or 5 pm already). watkykjy and i stayed with beserker. on the way to cederberg oasis, he had another one... we got to cederberg oasis as the sun was going down and changed that one while we had a bite to eat. we then rode the last however many km of dirt and passes out of the cederberg in the dark - just before the tar hit he had his 4th. I pushed on to op die berg to get within cell phone range and let everyone know we're alive, but just taking a leeeetle longer than expected. I got to op die berg at 10:15. beserker (who had figured out that there was something funky going on with his rim lock causing punctures 2, 3 and 4) and watkykjy arrived at 11:15. by that time, my father and brother in law had already set off with watkykjy's 3 bike trailer to meet us in ceres, despite me telling him it wasn't neccessary. I'm glad he did, because by the time we got to ceres (00:25), we were knackered. 1am the "recovery crew" arrived, and we were on our way. by the time we had dropped the bikes at beserker's and got home, it was in the region of 4am.

but what a ride  :thumleft:

 lekker soutie

is that the Kriega tankbag that you are sporing there?

Eventually Wes ---------Yippeee  :thumleft: Nice one mate. Hey something about punctures--when its your day--no matter what you do--they will come looking for you  ::) Had a guy on a ride one day--9--in one day--That is more than i nhave had in that many years.
Like the new tank Wes.---How did the TKC stand up on the back ? At least the Husky HAS suspension --- Ps i have a mod that sorts out the back number plate on the older Huskies. The 09 does not catch.

Nice one all  :thumleft:

it's the 10l Kriega tailpack, that I used on the front (had a jerrycan on the back). Works pretty well...
