I got a hold of a 2nd hand full Akra system. I took the plunge and spent the cash, not a bad deal though.
Anyway, got them installed and it seemed to run ok on the stock map. tiny bit of popping on the overrun.
I then tried a custom map made by a guy in OZ (Kevxtx....he is like a 990 SMR/SMT guru in oz and has made a bunch of maps here: https://www.ktmsmt.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3770) I used #9 TuneECU map on that link. Seems pretty rich and is popping more on the overrun. It also seems louder actually!
Also obviously these are made at Sea level.....so for JHB they're gonna be rich right?
I just want to make sure that it's not running super lean/rich.
Any of you guys running the Akra Map from KTM have TuneECU and can check the name of the map for me? Does the Akra map work well?
Shot!
