Where my slip-on muffler meets the exhaust mid-pipe, it’s kind of a friction fit. Slightly smaller diameter pipe pushes into a slightly larger one. It’s a snug fit, but there’s a bit of exhaust leakage there. What can I use to seal that joint- some kind of exhaust sealant I guess?
I could weld the joint (both pipes are stainless) but I’d rather keep the slip-on removable if I can.
