I finally tried out Loods se pad. It was a good morning out. Haven't ridden in awhile and thought I needed to before the little comes out in the next few weeks.

Did a quick coffee in Stanford on Saturday. Was cool and drizly and I wasn’t angry at my bike for having a heated seat. Met @Pannas and a few other guys who were on their way to Marshall a MTB even. Lekker om te ontmoet Pannas

Two friends and I took a day trip from PTA to Dullstroom and back taking as much dirt roads as we could see on a map, and then some that we couldn't.



We discovered that farm fences blocking the road can lead you to interesting places very quickly.

And that mud can be deceptive.

And that a clean bike is an unhappy bike

The roads got progressively worse but we pushed on... Literally pushed sometimes.

A perfect way to spend time with some friends, everyone got stuck at some point.

I now know that recovering a bike from mud is not a one man job.

Was surprised at the condition of the road at places. Probably due to rain but many ruts, holes and corrugation.
