Hi, a while back while out on a ride my bike cut out. After fiddling around we found that the pin no.4 was badly burnt in the plug on top of the fuel tank. Made a hasty repair and shot home.
Today I decided to sort it out. Drilled a hole in the lid, put in a bolt, lug and spade clip and rerouted the one wire that was burnt like on ADV rider forum.
Now when I switch on the ignition I do not hear the pump. (tank is still drained). Surely the pump should still make some noise when dry?
