:devilish:

And then the shit hit the fan......

We came across a long section of black mud. At first it was fun with Mark and I musing about the black mud being thrown metres into the air by the back and front wheels. Then I was alone all of a sudden and as I eventually slid to a standstill I noticed the rest of the group a few hundred metres behind me. I turned around and rode back to the group.

Every single 990, except myself and Antony had clogged up with mud and broken their front fender.....

Flippen lekker RR.

Interesting why not all the 990's front fenders clogged up. Could be the type of front tyres used?

Not sure, but I have a much narrower front rim with D606 tyre which does chuck off mud easier I think. I also sped up when I felt the mud building and might have gotten rid of some of the build up
