Just want to put the video on the front page so it doesn't get lost at the back of the report.

So I've got this bucket list thing that I've been trying to tick off since I started adventure riding about six years ago. Many of the ideas come from ride reports I see right here on WD (which is a problem cause the bucket list just keeps growing )
There have been a couple of good ones so far and I thought I'd share as I haven't posted RR's on all of them:
Van Zyls Pass - I am grateful to have been a part of the Honda Quest experience, it wouldn't have been so easy to achieve otherwise.
Bastervoetpad - This one wasn't so bad but heck it was beautiful.
Orrie Baragwanath Pass - EPIC! Pretty rough, but awesome, one of my favourites,
2017 on the Twin
Back again on the 701.
This is one of my favourite places.
Bezuidenhouts Pass - I was still a bit of a newbie when we did this, it was pretty challenging on the 950SE at the time. I pat myself big time on the shoulder for this one.
Ongeluksnek Pass - This was a tough one, even on the 701!
Mathabeng Pass - Done this twice now, I didn't even know this was a bucket list item until we found the pass by accident, in any case it was so awesome I felt we needed to go back and tick it again
First time with the 950SE
Second time round on the 701, the pass has deteriorated a lot so glad for the smaller bike.
Baviaanskloof - Popular choice, but absolutely epic, loved it!
Then of course there was more the usual favourites, like Sani, Die Hel, Rankins, Naude's neck, Normandien pass, all the beautiful scenic passes in the cape, all ticked, all lekker, just missing Old Postal Route, will be back for that one :ricky:
There are also many more things I'd still like to do, like Doodsakker, Hunters road, some of the national park cut line roads (Tau with their trip to Khaudum comes to mind), the Richtersveld, Road to Hell, Moz coastal roads (thanks for that one Xpat), riding with Losper and co in Lesotho, climbing Dune 7, riding some more of the riverbeds of Namibia and maybe even Botswana... But for now
Lets get back to the present! One of the passes both HSK and I have always wanted to ride was the Old Mill Drift Pass near Clarens. It's not even that far from Gauteng but somehow we NEVER EVER got to it.
Anyway, we've been working hard, we needed some time off. I phoned around, accommodation was booked full everywhere, suddenly there was a cancellation at a highly recommended place, our bags and bikes got packed and we headed out to the beautiful Omega Mountain retreat near the Lesotho border.
Just want to put the video on the front page so it doesn't get lost at the back of the report.
