Taylor was at it again….. taking us to where no Adventure bike has been before.

@Just Blip It! Has a reputation for seeking out very challenging routes for big adv bikes. This route would be no different.

5 riders met at a filling station in Karino and and soon we were blasting along the N4 towards Low’s Creek.

We turned onto gravel at Lows Creek and it wasn’t long before the route became interesting.

I don’t have much info unfortunately. Google also hasn’t been very helpful.
The ox wagon tracks are clearly visible in the rocks for large parts of the route
 
The first climb came as a bit of a surprise…… Just Blip it!’s excuse being that it all looked like tar road on Google Earth…….

But this was just the beginning…… what followed was some of the most challenging riding I’ve ever done.  It just never let off for the next 5 or 6km.

The next climb was brutal. As always, the camera doesn't come close to capturing the angle or the challenging terrain. Our fearless leader went up first.

Duncan and Jaco were both on 790s. Duncan is an experienced Enduro racer and Jaco just moved over from a BMW f800GS. Both were abusing their clutches coming up this brutal climb and half way up, both had clutch issues.

The 890 went up the climb effortlessly ….
