So when pulling off into Strand Beach Rd yesterday the car in front of me stopped for oncoming traffic. I was quite far behind, keeping my following distance. When I pulled the front brake lever, the ABS immediately activated and kept on kicking and I nearly hit the car in front :shock:. It was the same feeling as using the ABS for an emergency stop on gravel. After pulling away I tested the brakes and they felt the same - no stopping power at all. I could hear the servo's whining, so they were working. After two more stops the brakes returned to normal.
We did quite a lot of dirt on the forestry roads, but I haven't checked the ABS sensors for obstructions. Anybody with an 1150 had this before?
