2 Day Trip Through the Cederberg (10&11 December 2012)

OK,... here we go again,.....

BTW,.... a really Request from my side, to all the guys that have & will be travelling through this section,..... PLEASE ride through there (while still having a bit of fun of cause > > ), to ride through there in a responsible manour as not to Piss off the owners of that ares. It truly is a wonderful place with beutiful scenery & it'll be really sad if us WD's get blocked from riding through there.

After the really Gr8 stop @ the "Houdenbeksriver", we continued on the last section of this Awesome road & eventually came out @ the section just before the Kattbakkies Pass, where quite a few of us have never been up & over it.

With the KTM boys, Husky & KLR way up ahead,.... myself & Buff briefley stopped @ this point to admire & take in the truly Breath Taking views that lay before us, on the other side of that pass. I can assure you,.... any photo does NOT do this view any justice,.... this is something you just have to experience for yourself. :drif: :drif: :drif:

We turned around again to start heading back down the pass & head off to the Oasis...... as there were a few ice cold "Steering Dampers" waiting for us ;D

On the way back, we past this "pretty brokken ruin". Could not resist stopping for a few photos.

DougC told us about this really cool place called "Kagga Kamma" on route (& to the right) back down Kattbakkies Pass, where there are these really cool Rock Formations all over the show as far as your eyes can see.

Well this has to be one of the best "Gems" I have seen in a very long time. Once again, photos just don't do this place any justice..... you have to get out there & see it for yourself.

Finnally got back down Katbakkies Pass & headed for the Oasis for the night. Here are a few shots I got of some of the scenery around & also mannaged to get a few shots of DougC & Buff as they acended the rolling hills. Sorry I never mannaged to get some riding shots of Mambat, Murdock & RR,..... you guys were just too fast for me :ricky: :ricky:

BTW.. Dave,.... with the you guys out in fron most of the time, there is absolutley no way that we would ever get lost out there..... all we had to do was simply follow the never-ending "Roost Marks" you guys left behind as you exit each & every corner eepwall: :ricky: ot: ot: ;D
