+1, especially Rynet, she says she lost her horns somewhere, but grew her own...... 8)

Some photos from the climb called Broekskeur.....

This climb was really tough.
There were plenty spills and by my estimate half the field needed assistance to get to the top, that's how tough it was !

This is what the climb looked like before any bikes had gone up.

You can call her Chuck Norris from now on!

Although I tagged along to help where I can, she rode the bike all the way. I did not have to give any more assistance than what the other guys got from riding buddies. (even the pros needed help at Broekskeur!)

Seeing that 1200 going up those rocks was something else.  She only toppled over twice on the second day. Once from pure exhaustion as she cleared the last rise.

The ground clearance only threw her away at Broekskeur, where she picked the right line but the sump guard got in the way.  :mwink:

On the second day I had to slow her down, as she was busy leaving me behind. Not so nice riding alone at the back of the field. At least she was patient and kept me company!  :thumleft:

Kawasaki: The Art of arriving! ....... last!

that broekskeur climb was fun, second attempt I wheelied it up , and exited with a nice little jump!

Good on you being there ...its grt to know that you have a riding buddy with you in those conditions.... :thumleft: :thumleft:

My photos don't really show how steep this hill is,
but after some time there was a backlog of riders....waiting for a chance to ride up /
contemplating which line to take.

These riders are waiting at the bottom of the climb...

Great thanks to Alex to have had the vision to put this together.  I think he worked his *** off and put together a fantastic event.  Hats off dude…  Along with that to all the other members of the team, camera men, crew, pilots, medics, SAP and most of all the farmers and the people of Sutherland, this would not have been possible without everybody’s assistance.  But then what will the event be without the riders – Seeing the smiles, mud and adrenaline flowing freely at checkpoint two and lining at the stories in the evening is what it was all about.
Well done to everyone that completed these trails.  They were quite tough in certain places but did not stop most of you to complete the.  Our favourite little climb seems to have taken a couple of chaps by surprise – this is what it looked like three weeks earlier…

I’m just glad most riders made it through and that we weren’t asked to recover more bikes from the pit of despair…  Well done to everybody.

This was one thing you learned quickly on the Amageza: if you came upon a photographer you slowed the hell down in a hurry - they knew very well where the gotchas were which would provide the best footage ... and the most mayhem!
So when I approached Broekskeur and found not only several photographers but also a gaggle of nervous riders, it gave pause. Well done, madmike - your wheelie over the last rock was awesome.
Here is the view from the escarpment shortly after Broekskeur - I felt I deserved a short photo-break!
This was the escarpment that the special stage of day 2 had taken us all the way down (via the Ouberg Pass) and up again via a track which I would be embarrassed to take a mule along...

Haven't experienced so much action, drama & fun in one weekend........ever.  ;D

Everything didn't work out as planned on day 1 for our camera crew but we did get some good shots, mostly on day 2.
Now the hard work starts for me!
I'm posting these as a teaser, I haven't even seen everything myself. Patience will be required before I post much more.

Here are some of Mike (Pure Orange)'s pics, he was stationed about a kilometre beyond Broekskeur:
