I recently saw some 'goo' for sale in a shop to prevent punctures in tubed and tubeless tyres. You put it in before getting a puncture! About 30 years ago I used some before going on a long trip. I ended up with a puncture in the rear and the back of the bike coated with the sticky goo. Has the quality of the goo improved over these years? More importantly how does it effect the balance of the wheels? I have put heavy duty tubes in the KLR, but can obviously still get a puncture. The forum's input would be appreciated.
