Thanks Guys, just thought I would share how hardcore we are...and to warn others!

I did it on a 1200 GSA ; I think I was dreaming as I didn't die.  Im sure it was close.

Amazing. You all must have incredible hard heads, or your helmets are all to big. Seem they came of even when there was a sniff of a fall  :eek7:

I crashed int the bush so hard, just my boots were sticking out! Tony rushed in and bravely started pulling me out by my boots. Real friends are priceless, if he didn't see me going in there I would probably still be missing.
Bertie is Tony pulling you out of those bushes by your boots or pushing you back in with his ...errmm..knees
....uitsleep of fyndraai ? What is going on there?

Its taken me two weeks to recover........sorry three. But glad to be in one piece and able to ride another day.
I have also opted to change my bike from my trusty te610 to a milder and smaller bike. Hopefully the ktm525 will have been the right choice.

This is Hall of Fame stuff...

Well done Bertie and friends.  The Dakar will be easy after this :thumleft:.

Never been up Breedt’s Nek.....
I’ve read horror stories before, but this just confirms it is too hardcore!

10 years since I last attempted Breedtnek. I still wake up with cold sweats when the nightmares come. I think I was just young and stupid.
