That pass really scared me too. Next time I do it I will follow 2SD's advice and go smaller and lighter.

After much looking it seems even Yamaha don't have something small and light and most importantly tough enough. It will have to be a Honda.

Went over on Sunday going S -> N.

Road was pretty rubbish as it was little more than a track in places.

I don't think I would have made it going the other way. The steps on the northern slope would have been too much.

As it was I walked the bike down the first step as there were two rocks after the step that I as sure were going to throw me off and I was too chicken to jump it :flower:. Reversing to get a new line was also not going to happen  ::).

More adventure than what I bargained for .

This ride was just meant to be a casual Sunday ride exploring new roads and seeing new areas. It was way more than I really was expecting - but hell I am glad I did it as it was an experience.

Why you falling around >:D.

I must admit I was lucky and the force was with me that day.

Just had to walk the bike over the first step though  ::).

I didn't fall 2 years ago but it ripped my poor GS bashplate right off.

But I also went down to Buffelspoort, and not the other way round

Breedts is in my backyard, its all about picking a line, sticking to it and keeping up momentum, if you can do that its not that bad to ride... :thumleft:

Here we ambled up in the Landy a while ago to have a late arvie cheese n wine while the weather was building... epic scenery with the road leading up from Rustenburg side.. :thumleft:

There is zero maintenance on the road so becoming an adventure riders paradise... after this seasons rains it will just get worse, so get out there and go hone your skills... ;D :thumleft:
