.....How crazy an idea would this be?? I know crazy, but how crazy??

Get a frame and start building with different components, keeping the original feel and look but combining with maybe a bit modern tech??

I've heard a certain frame also works (not sure - lets say a R 100 RS for example), and from there on you start building this thing.

Anyone done this?? :
