Help a Vaalie here please.
Will be down in Ceres 2 weeks from now and would love to do a day loop through the Cederberg starting and ending there.
Looking at the map I will go up Gydo Pass and head up to Cederberg Oasis, but from there I need some help.
Looking at the map (Slingsby) the road between Uitkyk and Algeria is indicated as a private road. Is that so? Will be a bummer as it could have made a nice loop into Citrusdal. Seems that the whole stretch back from Kunje to Op Die Berg is also tarred which is a pity. Any fuel stops along the way?
Any help will be appreciated. Looking at a map is one thing, hearing from people who know the area is much more helpful.
