Dankie Oasis, dit was lekker.

Cederberg was ook baie gasvry deur vir my twee punchers te gee. Baie dankie aan almal wat gestop en gehelp het veral Deon wat sy spaar tube vir my gegee het, net vir ingeval ek dit sou benodig.

Spesiale dankie vir Andy

Saterdagoggend staan ek duskant Algeria met n puncher terwyl die son my genadeloos braai, maar ek is nie gestres nie , want ek weet dat Andy oppad is.  En hy help altyd.

Na ongeveer 15 min gewaar ek die blou Tenere met Andy agter die stange, full speed ahead.  Dankie tog i am saved....

So in die ry word daar vriendelik vir my gewaai en die volgende oomblik verdwyn die Tenere en driver in n stofwolk.  :imaposer:

Arme Super Ten (Deon) se voorband het ook na eindelose TLC steeds gesukkel, en moes uiteindelik vervang word by Wellington. Gelukkig het ek ook spares gebring ...  :  :imaposer:

I had not ridden sand with my "new" 990 yet , so was in a bit of a flap about the Eselbank Sand , short as it is , it is not sweet .

I was too much in my head and not riding with my body when I hit the first centimeter of sand.
My body rigid as a pole I could not soak up the sand and ending up leaving the road.  :
All I saw was rocks and that snapped me back into riding mode and I managed to steer and miss three big rocks .
That helped settle me .  Nothing like a first fall to get me out of my head and back into relaxed riding mode .  :ricky:


Kamanya to the rescue.  :thumleft:  All I did was take a photo ( after his prompting ) which I was not going to post but he was a klikbekkie earlier on this thread and dished the dirt.  :imaposer:

After that I managed to ride the actual sand at Eselbank just fine.  :lol8:

Rudi took us down to the river and we had a wonderful time drenching ourselves in the cool waters.

Yes indeed Punisher , I bought a 990 and it is the most irresponsible decision I have never regretted .

When she arrived  I couldn’t believe how high , how powerful ,  how butch , how loud , and how wild she was . I was mortified to discover she sets off car alarms and even once a house alarm. She pops loudly when you slow down especially on downhill's. But I love her and can’t imagine riding a “normal” bike again . Now I set off the popping on purpose because I like it so much . It’s got a more playful nature  ( if you don’t mind paying for the pleasure ) and just generally makes me feel like I am reliving the best and naughtiest parts of my childhood again.  :biggrin: >
